create social media after publishing the post

Creating Social media messages for sharing post, has an option for creating them after the first step of *creating* the post itself. However, I think it should be after *publishing* the post. There are two problems now: 1) including the URL is in the form "https://domain/?p=", not the real slug. 2) Maybe the social media would be published before the post itself.
